It sure was great.

The Great Salt Lake. We've lived here for two years now and thought it was about time to go check it out for ourselves.

So I'm assuming "great" means "large"? Because yes it is.
Or "great" as in "great" huge awful smell.        P....U.
Or "great" as in "oh great, I just stepped on another dead bird". (it's greatly dirty).

but....it does make for a great photo.

very cool. I've never actually been to it either. Boats? I had no idea. The photos are awesome. I like the wheat and the sky.

Wow, great pictures Sheena!

I've never been to the Great Salt Lake either. Sad, but true.

You are correct. It is large. And it smells. And the little brine shrimp totally gross me out. I've only been there once (in all of my 20 years of living in UT) and it was quite enough really.

Your photos make it look way cooler than it is. Love the color work you've done.

Wow your photos actually make the "Great" Salt Lake look cool! I've been about 3 times. I think one time was enough for me, but we had to take family there to see it. It is neat but not great. But I guess I can see how it is "Great" as in large. Great Salt Lake sounds a lot better than "Neat" Salt Lake. Ok i'm rambling!!

Ha-ha that's funny about the stink...I've lived here all my life and never made it to the great salt lake either! Your photos are amazing though, the last two are my favorites!

Ew, Rob actually got in it?? I am totally amazed - I thought he was like a huge germaphobe and he actually removed his shoes and got IN the lake? I had him all wrong. He's no germaphobe. That's a brave, brave man. haha=)

Anyway, the pictures look gorgeous. I really like the first one.

Why did I think there was no water in the great salt lake? Oh wait that's the salt flats. Why did I just type this?
